L'AFM ha ottenuto copie di un rapporto iraniano su presunti sorvoli sugli UFO avvenuti circa dieci anni fa. Durante il 2004 e il 2005 i piloti di quattro F-4E Phantom II dell'Aeronautica della Repubblica islamica dell'Iran (IRIAF) e un singolo Tomcat F-14A avrebbero dovuto affrontare "UFO luminescenti" su strutture strategiche a Khondab e Bushehr. Nel processo, si sono verificati almeno due "combattimenti tra cani", anche se senza successo per i piloti di caccia.
AFM has obtained copies of an Iranian report into alleged UFO overflights that occurred some ten years ago. During 2004 and 2005 the pilots of four Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF) F-4E Phantom IIs and a single F-14A Tomcat reportedly confronted ‘luminescent UFOs’ over strategic facilities in Khondab and Bushehr. In the process, at least two ‘dogfights’ occurred, albeit without any success for the fighter pilots.
